Our Favorite Projects of 2017

2017 has come to a close, and we’ve spent the past few weeks reminiscing on some of our favorite projects of the past year. Suburban Lumber participated in several great projects, but we found two in particular that stood out.

Our team worked with Frey Homes to build a brand new custom home in the Cedar Rapids area. We provided several materials, such as the Azek decking and the white trim. However, the most notable thing we provided was the siding of this home’s exterior, which is Royal Vinyl’s siding in Marine Blue. High quality vinyl siding in deep, non-earth tones is a growing trend among homeowners who are looking for something unique.

Suburban Lumber was also featured in B. Hancock’s design in the Cedar Rapids Parade of Homes. The Cedar Rapids Parade of Homes is an event that offers Cedar Rapids area residents the opportunity to tour new and remodeled homes. The event showcases home trends as well as local builders and distributors, and Suburban Lumber was honored to be a part of this event by providing several materials for this Parade Home. These included Marvin Integrity Windows, cabinets by Cabinet Concepts, Westbury screen rail and porch, and LP siding.
